Jussawalla's Shorelines Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Jussawalla's Shorelines

From the seashore he seeing the seascapes
And the islets interonnectd over the years
Through landfill,
How was Bombay then,
How is it now,
How were the ports and posts of it,
How the harbours old and new,
The shipyards,
How the stories of shipwrecks, forlorn brothers,
The footfalls and thuds of old and new sailors
In contrast,
How did the ships sail it one day
And how are they now going to their destinations,
What has it changed,
Say you?
