Am I lost, Am I weird, Am I stupid..Yes, I am to blame
A feisty, pretty, kind, girl made me not the same
She has her love, her heart, she is content in her world
Ignored and ridiculed, I feel her cold

A cheating fool in her mind..is that my fate?
I am torn between a responsibility and missing a mate
I dread the day she disappears for my life would seem so bare
Cause I cannot shake off the feeling that..MAYBEshe cares! !

A chance to see me for who I am..to have a dance
A chance to be a real friend..to treat you like a princess in my world
A chance to try..not to pry.. To kindle feelings by being bold

A chance is all I ask cause it costs nothing and gives hope
It works out or not, I would have reached the end of my rope
Like a puppy at the door, I pine from afar
"Don't waste my time" she says "In my busy world I don't even know who you are"

See where a loyal, kind, honest, caring and loving person takes
Don't judge me as a fake cause a difference it makes
Feelings are hard to develop when restraints are there
A chance is all I ask as I let my soul bare! ! ! !
