Just A Dream And Just A Memory Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Just A Dream And Just A Memory

Just A Dream And Just A Memory

At one time in the ancient past,
Out of a dream from the nowhere places,

You found yourself neither man nor god,
But every memory of a recorded atom of space,

A dream taking place, a song, a half truths of the Bible and the man you were supposed to be,

You walked like the hallow spaces of the earth, turning a backward glances at every misunderstandings you'veencountered,

A naked child in the wanderings of a lusted world, you are in need of a tutor,

And you spoke with angry words like a cyclonic burst of nature,
Angry and loud,

A thunderous God but neither the half truth ofthe man and the bible you were supposed to be,

Between the wise and the foolish man,
Between thesages and the idiots,

Between the mysteries and the truthfull lies,
Betweenlife and death,

You understood now the ancient pasts from the future,
Now and the alwaysworld, the world that will ever become just a dream and just a memory.
