Just Ahead Poem by Bryan Taplits

Just Ahead

A day of joy, another day,
a repast laid for me,
I wonder how new sorrows form?
For only new vistas do I see.
Most persons trudge alone
but never view their path
They always see "just ahead"
And view a future dread.
But I feel no irksome sorrow
Nor any pain,
For "just ahead" I do not look
I just see you again.
No worries or frets apparent
No somber times or tears,
Just don't stray from my path
My dear-heart-
For "just ahead" with you
should take-
"Just" many blissful years.
