Just Another Day Poem by Saniyat Bin Aziz Khan

Just Another Day

Rating: 5.0

The day faded away....
You reappeared in my dreams
blurred visions....smoldering illusions
juxtaposed like an imagination
I almost could feel your touch...
and then I wake up
sweat-drenched in the middle of a moon-less night...
The morning brings no happiness
just have to maintain the routine
keeping an eye on the clock
the afternoons pass away unnoticed
I try to plunge myself in my work
but your thought always larks at the back of my mind...
You haven't faded from my memory....

An insightful depiction of mighty feeling of love - a spiritual experience that affects one profoundly. Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. Thanks for sharing Saniyat. Please read my poem POETIC MASTERPIECE.
