Just As Did My Mother Before Me

You say you like salted-butter
I tell you not to mutter
You say it's a generation thing
A little of what you like is a good thing
I dismiss him with humour
Just as did my mother before me
You-say, don't bore me.
I introduce my low-fat juicer.
No more sugar in your tea, my darling
What I need is a lover.
