Just Friends (For Damon Age Two) Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Just Friends (For Damon Age Two)

Rating: 5.0

Halloween mask
Tucked in place
Hiding his shiny, toothy
Smiling face.
I pretend he truly is
The man from Mars
Because where there should be eyes
Are two twinkling stars.

Ah, Dorothy, takes me back to when my grown son did the halloween mask thing...and oh, yes, we did pretend, but the memories, they are Golden! Love, Theo
