Just Lie To Me Poem by Juan Olivarez

Just Lie To Me

Rating: 5.0

Just lie to me, tell me it's not true,
And I'll believe you I always do.
Look in my eyes and plead your case,
With that innocent look upon your face.

Swear up and down, It's just not so,
Waving your arms, pacing to and fro.
Just act offended, grow red in the face,
All the while piercing me, with that icy gaze.

And you know I'll believe, I always do,
But you'll think in your mind, I have no clue.
And life will go on as it always will,
As you wound my heart, and move in for the kill.

It was a marvellous poem written with great skill. The poem is highly rich in imagery and style. I liked it very much. A fine 10. Thanks for sharing..... Kindly read and vote my poem 'A diabolic act, rape' on page 1. Warmest regards Akmal
