Just Like Dadhichi Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Just Like Dadhichi

Rating: 5.0

Just like Dadhichi
Want I to give to You,
God
Whatever bones,
Skeleton bones and bits
Want You
From me
As Your shastras,
Arms and ammunition.

With the asthi-kalasha
Into the hands of mine,
If You want
I shall give to You
The bones of mine
As for making weapons
Like Dadhichi,
Sage Dadhichi.

I am a mortal man
With my bones lying useless
If these could in redemption,
Let gods,
Let gods be with
For welfare and utilization,
Let, let gods,
Let gods be with the bones.

Very nice. But, it was the other way round. Dadhichi was requested by gods. Thanks for sharing the sentiments and an urge for change.
