Just North Of Me Poem by Mark Money

Just North Of Me

Somewhere a land is brimming with white
snow sky glows in the dark of night
just north of me.
waiting for someone to take me there
permanent breath in frozen air
just north of me.

(i don't know how i could ever be unhappy
with the face i see just north of me)

i on a constant journey go
escape to a place that calls me so
just north of me.

(leaving these iron bars behind
ain't gonna stop 'til i see your face
taking a trip within my mind
ain't gonna stop 'til i reach that place
just north of me)

snow sky glows in the dark above
i'm trapped in the south with the one i love
just north of me.
