Just Passing Through Poem by Juan Olivarez

Just Passing Through

My friends son died today.
He was my son's school mate.
And now he's left and gone away,
With our lord he had a date.

He was only thirty two,
Had a wife, a beautiful child.
But he was just passing through,
Only here a little while.

My friends heart is torn apart,
Eddie was his only son.
He was so special to his heart,
Brighter than the morning sun.

Funny how time seems to fly,
Not long ago he was a boy.
Giving it the old high school try,
Filling his mothers heart with joy.

Eddie's life was just so short,
A very short life just thirty two.
He left behind tears and hurt,
But then, we're all just passing through

Rest in peace Eddie, we will all miss you.

All is in God's time. Even the death of a mothers' child. God bless you are all in my prayers, Linda
