Leave The Inkpot Alone! Poem by Dr Dolston L Morian

Leave The Inkpot Alone!

The one who stirs the inkpot with a darken brush,
To ink another heart with the graffiti that crush
Must be mindful of their own inky soul
The ink rewrites to blotch the judgment role
Leave the inkpot alone

The tongue that in the inkpot not rightfully placed
Smears another if it is not stained with grace
Every ink mark that paints a story of slander
Is like a feather in wild wind never to be re-gather
Leave the inkpot alone

The ink that is used to carve the ‘su-su' being used
Someone will return to you the color you choose
Then be careful when the ink for discredit you pose
Will spill and spoil the pretense in your clothes
The ink being used will not always paint a colorful rose

So use not the inkpot as a lick for the tongue
It will blemish your soul like a blast from a gun
Leave the inkpot alone.
