And through the concrete walls
his poems flew, he knew
his tears had reached the river Nile
were swallowed by a crocodile
which ate the nasty president
-just call it nice- coincident
his ears had heard the humming bird
the humming bird has brought a word
of comfort and of peace
a scorpion compassionately sad
stung the toe of the butcher-judge
and hence there lay John Doe
and no one ever felt a grudge
just smiles and smiles behind
that solid steel, for he knew
that through the concrete solid
walls his poems flew. M
