Kali Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Kali

Rating: 5.0

In your gold bordered satin fabric
"Why don't you write my name? "
"Why did you pull the string of emotion? "
Your tongue lapped at the edge of the lip;
You asked for forgiveness.
I wailed at your doorsteps;
Dousing myself with coconut water
I begged for my misfortune.
The worm infested rice;
The drain water leaking into the well;
The itching joints of the fingers;
The yellowish eyes searching for
An identity in the quagmire of sins.
One by one my ancestors fell
Like pigeons shot;
Where have you been?
When we went on digging the soul;
What world did you throw me into?
To suck blood like a witch,
You came and stayed on the alter,
And wiped the stains with red flowers.

'Indeed like Painfully Yours to Goddess KALI'...to understand KALI much Sadhana is required...The KALI you wrote about is not Raksha Kali [Preserving Kali]..however your lamentation is true...I like it much Tenner ~ niv PS Please/comment mine Omni Pervading Mother n
