'' Karma Can Be So Hard To Swallow '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Karma Can Be So Hard To Swallow ''

If given the chance,
Your life to enhance,
Tell me, how far would you go,
Would you make a stance?
Or be in a trance,
Sell your soul then go with the flow.

Can you honestly say,
The answers no way,
Would you ever give in to temptation?
Would it hold sway,
Could you betray,
Those who give you edification.

Could you kill,
Do you have the will?
For money could you do someone harm,
Do you feel a chill?
Or perhaps a thrill,
That alone should cause you alarm.

Your morals at stake,
Does it make you shake?
That you know the decision is wrong,
Or are you a fake,
Who acts like a snake,
Then hell is where you belong.

When conscience kicks in,
From deep within,
You'll know what you did you will hate,
Let the torture begin,
Your heads in a spin,
To rectify mistakes, it's too late.

Any evil you do,
It's perfectly true,
Consequences believe me will follow,
Chaos will ensue,
When it comes back on you,
