Kermit - Poem by Ima Ryma
I am the world's most famous frog.
Jim Henson made me what I am,
A handsome rag with dialogue,
Your host on the Muppet program.
Kermit - that is my best known name.
I am called other names elsewhere.
For decades, I've had show biz fame,
Bestowed with honors and awards,
I am a star eternally,
One of the planet's most adoreds.
So eat your heart out, Miss Piggy.
Jim and muppeteers come and go,
But Kermit's for keeps, doncha know!
