Kill To Live Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Kill To Live

Kill to live

If I had a gun or poison
I would have ended me right away!

Am tired of being human!
Feel crushed under feet of the man!

Wonder if anything, anytime
Has been, is worse than man!

Kills trees, creatures
Destroys lakes, oceans
Empties depths of Earth
And claims and claims:
To have been ever best!

Look at the cement roads
The trucks under load
And walls of prisons
To farms, barns, residents
All messed by humans.

Now, stop, think again,
Construct your questions
Seek the honest answers.

You will find no reply
Just: "Destruction! "

Kills to live
Kills to eat
Kills, kills,
Kills!

What about the Yemen, Saudi?
Is Iran behind it?
Let us say that Houthis
(These braves in shooting,)
Took drones and aimed right;
Is it fault of Iran?
What about the thousands
Killed by arms "Made in the USA? "

We are self aware and as such are well on our way To destroying the planet. On the bright side it will only take about a hundred Years to regenerate after we are gone. James
