Killed By Kurds Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Killed By Kurds

Killed by Kurds

Though a dead, you are best
Your answer is nicest and rightest:
“Who has lied? ”

You were killed in ‘Front’
Leaders say you were sent to train and advice
“Who has lied? ”

Your friends; shot by Kurds
Will soon be misinformed, brainwashed
“Who has lied? ”

Were you told who Kurds are?
Did you know they are born mountain-lions?
“Who has lied? ”

Owners of “Liberty” used bombs, boots
Lost respect with claim: “We wisely do the right.”
“Who has lied? ”

Now we walk in their path
“Intruders, invaders” will victims hatefully, soon call us.
“Who has lied? ”

New law, is bullet “51”
No one dares being true; complain, talk of heart.
“Who has lied? ”

Hey sergeant, the martyr
Our poor and needy man, adventure-crazy or selfish?
“Who has lied? ”
