Killer Whale Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Killer Whale

Killer Whale

Deep asleep in my room
Far away from water, sea
No mention, related-story
I saw whale in dream.

And somehow I was to
Become food; go to it
Punctual was the whale
Sharp on time…

Afraid I, sought excuse
Could not find way, muse
I had to say goodbye to my life
Had no way…it seemed like.

I walked to the whale’s mouth
Entered in…

By colour, black-white with grey
It was a killer whale, I could say
Suddenly the things changed,
She became a mother, and I safe.

Held me tight in her arms
Full of love, went across.

What is dream all about? ”
