Killing Off The Ladies Poem by cheryl davis miller

Killing Off The Ladies

Ever notice in the movies
that someone has got to die.
We have just come to expect it
we don't even question ' why? '

At one time it was the bad girl,
she'd die in every show.
Sometimes she'd sacrifice her life,
but she always had to go.

Then it always was the good girl,
she would be the one to die.
On each episode of TV
by the end she'd say good-bye.

Now it is kind of personal
well at least it is to me.
Cause now the first to die it seems
are those who they call 'portly.'

Yeah now it is the fat girl that's
becoming the stalkers prey.
Who knows which way the winds will blow;
may be your type next they'll slay.
