Kiss A Beauty Poem by Jude Ogunade

Kiss A Beauty

Kiss a beauty, beauty bright,
Do not let her pass you by.
How time flies and skies go grey,
Keep the moments make your hay!

Idle chatter is a sin,
Leaves you soon without a pin.
Plan your progress, plant your time,
Even though you have no dime.

Young and old: both be sober.
Take your ladder, climb higher.
Hug the time, take time to learn.
Soon the daily bread is earned.

Happiness is time well spent!
All too sweet the sweat of brows.
All so soon your wealth descend.
Make strong now your shooting bows.

Time: the beauty your must kiss.
Hold her tight, keep her in sight.
Live not in haste: why life waste?
Youth well spent is future peace!

Come, one and all; sing the song!
All too soon the time begone!
Kiss a beauty, beauty bright,
Do not let her pass you by!
