Before we say goodbye and go our separate ways,
After you tell me all that you wanted to say.
When the rain falls as we stand face to face,
Reminiscent of when we first met at this same place.
I tell you all of the things that you wanted to hear,
You regret the moment as you confess your fear.
Then I say that everything is going to be okay,
Let us just forget about this and restart the day.
Before we say that this could be the end of it all,
Then in each other's arms and back in love we can fall.
Just a kiss for all that we have been through,
Kiss me because I am still me and you are still you.
