Knocking My Head Against A Brick Wall Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Knocking My Head Against A Brick Wall

Been knocking my head against a brick wall,
At least, that’s what I think I’ve been doing,
I’ve got nowhere fast,
But it aint gonna last,
For back to Cambridge I’ll soon be going.

For the past year I’ve had little work,
To get more all my efforts I didn’t shirk,
But whatever I tried,
I sure could have cried,
As rejection has sent me berserk.

What now will happen to me?
My Future is left now to HIM,
HE’ll guide me I know,
Be it fast, be it slow,
As long as my Life’s free from sin.
