Knowing Each Other Poem by Dr. Shukdeb Mazumder

Knowing Each Other

Rating: 5.0

What's on my mind?
Please do find!
Tell what in my eyes
just now flies.

Without knowing me in depth
how will you think lovingly of me?
To know the grass gravely
you have to be a grasshopper in glee.

To know a flower fully
you have to be a butterfly,
to know the spring smartly
you have to be a cuckoo sly.

To understand the sky skillfully
you need to be a bird flying off Planeta
to sense the ocean awfully
you need to be a penguin or the Pinta.

Not knowing each other keenly
how can we love altogether cleanly,
how can we build the building of love
and make it earthquake-proof finally?
