Kyrgyzstan Is The Country Of My Dreams, Poem by Liza Sud

Kyrgyzstan Is The Country Of My Dreams,

Rating: 5.0

Kyrgyzstan is the country of my dreams,
Where town and village are above the clouds.
Where rivers quietly wind between the mountains.
Where features are so mild as well as twists.

And landscape is as earthly paradise,
stark-frozen, beautiful and devastated.
There's no abhorrent and intrusive bright,
the sea does not make noise like din of ravens.

And there is a saint lake Issyk-Kul,
Whose bottom keeps secrets of Genghis Khan.
And through transparent waters path turns blue,
Like photo on the bottom of a glass.

But one cannot carry away its stars.
And having seen only its treasures portion,
Thus your life, as bottom contrariwise,
Will be reflected in Kirghiz blue waters.

Hi Liza, Beautiful poem on natural beauty of the land you love. Wonderful expressions, capturing your emotional bond with the landscape: Kyrgyzstan is the country of my dreams, Where town and village are above the clouds. Where rivers quietly wind between the mountains. Where features are so mild as well as twists. The following lines too are captivating: And landscape is as earthly paradise, stark-frozen, beautiful and devastated. There's no abhorrent and intrusive bright, the sea does not make noise like din of ravens. Especially: : din of ravens: : ! But I am not able to relate to the word, : : DEVASTATED: : I wonder what this word is doing here, in a poem expressing the fullness of the nature. I find it out of place. Mut a lovely poem, deserving a fantastic 100++ -unnikrishnan
