La Neige En Septembre. (Translation) .

Rating: 5.0

chaque fois.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This a fantasy poem; someone playing a violin in the snow and sounding like Beethoven The music makes a boy weep by a stream, under the willow trees. When the music stops, the boy disappears every time. He repeats 'every time' at the end, which sounds very good, like everyday speech.
Brian Turner is a fan of classical music, which shows in his poetry.

Great imagery and a gripping narrative. It underlines the power and impact of classical music. Thanks a lot.

A comment of acuity and insight into classical music, and what Brian Turner makes of his knowledge of it.
