No public holiday
for The Netherlands on 1 May

Labour Day's origins in the labour union movement,
specifically the eight-hour day event,

which advocated eight hours for working,
eight hours for recreation may also be sporting,

and eight hours for rest
yeah, I know, the workers did their best!
