Lady In White Poem by Juan Olivarez

Lady In White

Lady in white, don't hide away,
Your words do inspire,
Much brighter days.

Come out of your shell,
And feel the sun,
Please write again for everyone.

Come pass out candy, again to the babes,
While all around you,
Critics will rave.

Don't be a recluse, hiding from life,
All of us have,
Some measure of strife.

So you did love, and twas not returned,
All of us have,
One fine day been spurned.

Emily, sweet Emily, may God rest your soul,
The words you put forth,
Are worth more than gold.
