Lady Lachryma's Heart Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Lady Lachryma's Heart

Lady Lachryma's Heart
Tell all your troubles
to Lady Lachryma's heart
Tearfully tell her
till your troubles depart

For she'll help you relieve
your worrisome fares
And lighten the load
because she honestly care

Why? ......May you ask
is she good at this task
Better your worries known
then too reflect on her own

I love the word lachryma - so much more evocative than tears. Yes, sometimes it is necessary to let the tears fall in order to find peace from pain and anguish. A lovely idea. Allie xxxx
