Lady With Flowers Poem by james watkin

Lady With Flowers

In showing me, tender
If trembly arm-held
What for this bunch is less
Admired than envied
I sense, through whose beauty
If with gloss out-swelled
Here lies the gold standard;
The white rose so eyed.
