Its been almost half a year
since I laid eyes on her
reality became my worse fear
then I laid lies on her
I told her I didnt care
but I evade eyes from her
and hoped she didnt stare
as I held my disguise on her
I played it off like nothing
didnt keep guys from her
held my tongue not a word
said to her all summer
I didnt ask questions kept
my who's and why's from her
but I barely slept cause I
couldnt deal with goodbyes from her
