Lamb Of The Meadow - Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Holy lamb of the meadow
What is your quest...
As you relax 'neath the trees
Taking your rest?
Grazing on the hillside
Living for today
Oh humble Lamb of God
Please ~ never stray.
You tell of warm summers
And remind us of May.
So dull is the valley,
Barren and bare.
No happiness, just sadness
When you are not there.
