Lantern

With his lantern,
Showing in his window,
I wondered if he,
Was happy or sad.
Maybe he experienced,
Something bad.
A bit of something sad.
Or something that made him mad.
For that glowing yellow lantern,
Signaled the world to see,
When that man said, 'look at me.'
