Last…
Everything feels like it should finish last…
That it should just for fit.
How can you end what’s in the past?
Something that just went by so fast…
Can you just give it up; dropp of a hat?

How can you change the way of someone who acts like a brat?
They always get what they want.
Why is it so hard to get what you want?
Something you long for,
Seems like somethin’ you can die for.
That kind of drive inside of you
That makes you want to sore...

Why is it so hard to be happy; to stay happy?
There is-such thing…
But we make it so complicated,
There’s always something!
There's always something that has to drag you back.
Something stupid,
An extra twenty pound weight that makes it harder to pick up the slack.
An added weight on a part… that has always been there…
From beginning. It’s your start.

We sit there,
We over think things
Little do we know it only makes us look dumb!
When we realize, feeling is simple
Kind of like a light hum.
A lullaby you must sing,
A soothing song that creates this ding!
A click…
That goes together right with the song.
A single song, a verse
That has been in you all along.
Just sitting there,
...Aching.
Then you realize you’re just scared,
Scared to let it go
Because-how do you really know…
That it could be loved?
Loved like the lovely stars up above...
How they stare down on you...

From everything we’ve encountered in the past...
And things we now let out to be shown.
Minced passion still builds a wall, a wall that has mysteriously been grown.
Now, if letting go is the next step to becoming grown
Then what more can we still be scared of?
Other than making sure that what we set free…
Never finishes last!
