We'Re Only Human.. Poem by Rose Bean

Why do we create such negative atmosphere’s?
So much of it.. that we find the littlest things to fear.
Why do we try to hold so close to us what seems so dear?
Even if it’s wrong, we can't seem to let go..
Why can't we let go, even knowing it would make life easier?

Why is it almost too hard to forget?
The rewind button makes it almost impossible to neglect.
We go crazy!
And finally,
it leaves us insane..
Only bruised for the next time we feel in pain!
Is there any chance that I could still be sane?
Any part of me to still remain,
human.. I am only human.

Sometimes I forget that.
We all forget that.
Forget that we all have feelings,
and it effects how we think.
Or does how we think.. effect how we feel?
Thinking about something you hate or like..
is that knowing how you feel about it?
Or is feeling about it leading you to know?
Some say we think with our brains, but we sometimes need to learn to follow our hearts.
Why are they so different?
Shouldn't we have had answers to this from the start?
How different, are the things we know and feel?
We're only human..
