Last Man On Earth Poem by White Tiger

Last Man On Earth

Early one morning, I woke up to find
All was silent, it was a quater to nine

I jumped from my bed and walked outside
Amazed at what I saw, ran back inside

There was no one to talk to, no one at all
No one to shout at, no one to call

I started to run and make assertions
Looking for someone, for directions

I felt deprived, I felt deceived
I felt afraid of what I believed

It came crashing down all at once
All I wanted was a second chance

A chance to prove that this was a dream
Of inconvenience and low esteem

But my fate was sealed, sealed with fright
When I knew I was the last man on earth tonight.
