By mid-Autumn, a lot of leaves had fallen
With today's strong winds, more leaves are falling at faster speeds.
Yellow leaves join brown leaves to fall.
Small leaves as well as big leaves twirl their bodies in the air as they come down.
All leaves of two dogwood trees had fallen.
Half amount of leaves of a maple tree hang on branches but another half is on the ground.
This is a giant maple tree with its trunk of few arm's lengths.
This maple tree has very large canopy, so a lot of its yellow leaves have been on the ground.
Without leaves, Asian pear trees expose their bare branches.
Their recent fallen yellow leaves sit loosely on brown ones.
Leaves of a giant mulberry tree were just burned by freezing frost last night.
These damaged leaves try to hang on to delay their separation.
White pine trees show their young looking needles
After all of old pine needles fell off.
Under blue sky no geese fly by.
Familiar nightingales are no longer in sight.
Hoarse caws of crows are still nearby.

Translation of Vietnamese poem Những Lá Mùa Thu Cuối Cùng,
NHIEN NGUYEN MD
NHỮNG LÁ MÙA THU CUỐI CÙNG
Giữa thu, lá đã rụng đầy
Hôm nay gió thổi, lá càng rụng mau.
Lá vàng nối gót lá nâu
Lá to, lá nhỏ lao chao giữa trời.
Khuyển-mộc, lá rụng hết rồi
Lá phong nửa rụng, nửa còn treo cây.
Cây này, gốc mấy vòng tay
Cây to, tàn rộng, sân vàng lá phong.
Lê tầu hết lá, cành trơ
Lá vàng rụng xuống ôm hờ lá nâu.
Cây Dâu lá bỏng giập bầm
Lá còn cố níu thêm ngày chia ly.
Cây thông lá tốt xanh rì
Lá nâu đã rụng, cây thì trẻ ra.
Trời xanh, không ngỗng bay ngang
Họa mi đi vắng, một đàn qụa kêu.
