Last Road Side Break (Back From Holidaying) Poem by james watkin

Last Road Side Break (Back From Holidaying)

Quiet, but whose emptiness
A country eve's
More that, unwelcome, in me
Chill-blown receives.

A shivering distance
Away from it
As tis. Home's familiarity.
Warms one's spirit.
