Late Morning Dreams And Longings - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Hello my sweet dear and I hope you
are doing most well and feeling
all of the loving warmth that I send
and feel cheer with all the sweet kisses
and big hugs I send along.
I have been thinking of you and am longing
to have you here in my arms to spend
the rest of this late morning
and then afternoon in each others arms spending time.
I'm about to head out to Burger King
to buy some lunch with a gift card
I got for Christmas and haven't used yet.
I wish you were here to run out with
and get us both a good meal
then come back to wrap up closely
by each other on the couch and enjoy
it while being together feeling peaceful and whole.
Tiredness is again catching up with me a bit
so I'm feeling more quiet but would just love
to sit next to you and hear you talk
or watch a movie sweet love.
Late morning dreams and longings for you my sweet dear
are what I am having and feeling here.
I love you sweet Kira you are my true love
and I miss you.
So feel all of my love for you and feel
my arms now as I wrap them around you,
I am about to go out and grab lunch
and as I sit down to eat I'll be dreaming of you,
I'll be longing to have you right there
by my side enjoying the food and late morning as well.
I adore you so much and want to have you
right here in my arms,
I want to be giving you kisses and have snuggles
many times through each day that we live.
I miss you sweet Angel and know I'm with you
because I'll never leave my beautiful girl.
I love you so deeply and will be thinking of you
as I go about my afternoon meanderings,
I love you sweet Kira you are my Angel
and I would give anything to be with you
right now my sweet precious darling.
