Later On Apologize Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

It did not occur
That I may have error
In judgment
At that moment

I went vehemently against
With people present
They were complaining about corruption
I had to make interruption

I knew that they were responsible
Offered bribe when faced trouble
It was not the employee who demanded the bribe
But the people themselves as they did not complain and later on described

Now it has become tendency to choose easy path
Get work done and have peaceful breathe
People think” why invite more of problems”?
When nothing was concerning them

Such is escapism
We term it as weakness of humanism
We err and later on apologize
Then start again the same thing for people to oblige
