Dorsey Baker

Laughter - Poem by Dorsey Baker

you seem burdened
what has made you
so without cheer?
you'll taste the bitter
you'll taste the sweet
and somewhere in between
experience and face
what must
be experienced and faced
learn from living
as you live
rain may have fallen heavily
but the sun follows very soon
tears have
come and gone
laughter is on its way
