Le Brouillard. (Translation) . Poem by Michael Walker

Le Brouillard. (Translation) .

Le brouillard vient
sur ses petits pieds de chat.
Il est assis en regardant
sur le port et la cite
a ses hauches silencieuses
et puis il se deplace.

-' Fog'. Carl Sandburg. (1878-1967) .

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a brief sketch of fog over a harbour and city. It stays for a while, then moves on. Sandburg uses effective personification of the fog, comparing it to a cat.
