POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The poem follows the haiku pattern-3 lines,17 syllables arranged 5-7-5. I lost interest in soccer once I had finished coaching. I don't really watch sport on TV.

I can relate to the loss of passion of competitive sport. Nowadays I am content with personal fitness at my own leisure. Love the straight to the point your poem gives.

Fair comment. I am not above criticism. I was trying to show that I find it better to participate in sports, or coach them, rather than watch them on TV. I never watched one English soccer league game, although they were, and are, popular in my country.
