Leading Imagination Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Leading Imagination

Slamming notes, hitting my mind with particular
rhythms as I compose them interiorly, anticipating
their wonder when finally played upon a piano.

Stretching tightly across intellect, being
played like a violin, harmonically and precisely,
leading imagination into another universe.

There it has a diverse and spectacular assortment
of thoughtful ideas, riding consciously into every
aspect of life, and is then spent in many poems
being written.
