Leaf Music

The wind is breathing through the trees
The leaves whisper leaf music only to me
And all the things I long to say
Are fading like green leaves farther away
I try to hold the moments in but they flow on
Past a silver bend in time, like music
I'll go on
And listen to star music all winter long.
Then in the spring when blossoms fall
The petaling sky shines over us all
Ill greet again my long lost friends
Whispering leaf music till the end.
That's not the end, at all at all
For sure in Heaven, my tree will call
Remembering when we both were young
and sang till tree and roots were one.
