Learn to Praise Thy God

Learn to praise thy God
And give Him salutation
He has made a way
To know so great Salvation
Bound and  pierced by nails
And hung there on a Cross
Yet in dying gave new life
To a thief of Paradise

Only God can give
A love of such a measure
And every single participant
Knows he's found true treasure
Forgiveness for our sin
He washed them all away
And by the cleansing of His Word
We can praise Him every day

I've learned to praise my God
And offer up thanks giving
Because it is through Him
That I enjoy abundant living
Praise God for that precious name
That name of Jesus Christ
None other name any sweeter sounding
Then who paid my ransom price

All glory to Thy name
For saving me from sin
And its fiercest penalty
The life of every man
But You Lord had redeeming power
You raise up from the grave
So gladly still I do proclaim
Jesus saves! Jesus saves!
