Learned People Lose Their Respect While Mingle With Wicked People!
O' the girl who has black eyes that shine with eyebrows
which resemble the bow fitted with arrow!
Even the heaviest object loses its weight
As and when loaded in the float that sails in the water!
Likewise, if and when the esteemed and learned people
mingle with the wicked people, they will not be respected!

நேரிசை வெண்பா
கல்லா அறிவிற் கயவர்பால் கற்றுணர்ந்த
நல்லார் தமதுகனம் நண்ணாரே - வில்லார்
கணையிற் பொலியும் கருங்கண்ணாய்! நொய்தாம்
புணையில் புகும்ஒண் பொருள்.25 - நன்னெறி
Learned person begets wit and wisdom if learned person loses own wit and wisdom and entangles with futile argument with others then he/she loses true path!
