Make a fresh start in the New Year,
So what to leave behind do I
Want from last year to disappear?
As always I resolve to try
To leave behind some weight I've gained
Over last year, especially
During the holidays obtained,
Eating all those goodies I be.
Better diet and exercise
I know is how some pounds to drop.
But as always I realize,
Eating goodies is hard to stop.

Leave a few pounds I have in mind,
From my behind to leave behind.
