Leaving A Black And White World Entering Another Poem by Not Long Left

Leaving A Black And White World Entering Another

She waves goodbye
Her movement is slow
A sign of her sadness
She is swallowed in
the steam, only her
memory remains.
The train drifts into
the distance, lingering
as if to prolong the pain.

Darkness decends
The movie ends
We stand in unsion
then shuffle out into
the outside world
It is raining, there are
police sirens screaming
in the distance,
we drift away.
