Les Fleurs Des Mots: La Journee D'On

ON commence a travailler
a neuf heures.

ON fait une pause
a onze heures.

ON dejeune
a treize heures,
ON sort du travail
a dix-huit heures,
ON retourne a la maison
a dix-neuf.

ON va
au spectacle
a vingt heures et demie.

ON va
se coucher
a vingt-trois.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
there are accent graves above the single letter words 'a' and an accent aigu above the first 'e' in 'Journee'.

In English it goes like this with variations for rhyme and flow:

ONE's Day
ONE starts work at nine am.
ONE takes a break at eleven.

ONE has lunch at one pm,
ONE leaves work at six,
ONE gets home at quarter to seven.

ONE goes to a show at half past seven.
ONE goes to bed at ten to eleven.
